Local Power Store (LPS) will be offering its new Home PowerStation™ solution to energy time shift buildings via the optimal use of batteries. The right configuration for energy storage in buildings devised by LPS allows for using variable tariff energy, using intermittent supply of energy from renewable sources as a replacement of the grid, the ability to self-consume renewables, resilience which avoids power cut outages, using cheap night time energy in daytime, and paying nothing for energy use by acting as a load leveller for the utility. Buildings with an LPS Home PowerStation™ will also be capable of operating in a low energy mode, something essential when the variable tariffs paid by utilities are shared with customers.
